Accomplished
She didn't know she was an accomplished young lady ‘til she realized she was the youngest woman in the crowd with an impressive array of accolades. Until that moment, she had just remained focused on staying one step ahead of her peers; the youngest in her graduating class. The most A’s in her group of friends and family. The youngest and first in her generation to earn a bachelor’s degree. The most cultured amongst most of her peers due to a long-lived and ongoing voyage of world travel. How fortunate she had been to see the world amongst many international athletes. To walk the road that many a star had walked, with bodyguards, red carpets, interviews and the likes. She had made a home for herself far from were she had been born and raised. She had learned how to make things work to her advantage, to make the most of every single opportunity she was afforded. She was fond of love, and all good things that came her way. The special people who grew to become great friends, friends that today, represent her second family away from home. The amazing people who understood her path and made sure she was given the chance to achieve her goals, one step at a time. People who have taught her to be strong, people who are teaching her true wisdom, people who are showing her pure love through their signs of empathy and compassion. She had been given the power to influence everyone in her path, to touch the lives of the young and old, to inspire people with hope from the inner light that seemed to glow everywhere she went. Her footprints were like gold, her words a powerful torch. Her spirit danced every time she smiled, a smile that was devastatingly warm. Through every struggle, she seemed to rejoice and be content. She was uplifted by her mother, a true angel. Grounded by her father who taught her respect, discipline and greatness. Her sisters taught her to share with and care for different characters and creeds. Her extended family showed her humour with a certain zeal for life.
